I spent the past week-end with 600 girls and their women sponsors talking about how to crave things that are higher, how to seek a calling that is greater, to be all that you were meant to be. And over the course of the week-end, I started thinking about what I crave.
I crave a world where my daughters can be celebrated for their courage, integrity, and character instead of their sexuality. I crave a world where we are encouraged to see the worth of ALL people in their caring and kindness, rather than telling half of the population that their power lies in their ability to attract others. I crave a change. It is my mission and my goal to stir things up and make my voice heard. I hope that those of you who crave a better world will join me in raising your voices. Until we make ourselves heard, until we’re ready to cause some trouble and disrupt the status quo, we will not change the world. Let’s raise our voices. When we join together, we have the power to change the world!
