The author makes a claim that when the female body becomes a product and females are encouraged to look at their worth and value as deriving from it, we are all in danger. This is a fascinating look at the ugliness of the sexualization of women. The authors take a powerful stance on the real world implications of viewing ones body as a product to be traded for power. This is why I hate the idea that women can “use” their sexuality to derive power. It is shallow, short-term, and unhealthy. Read on, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
