Positive Activism: Make an Ad to Make a Point to Candies

Ad campaign entry

I told you about this creative activism campaign and the companies involved in previous posts. The Candie’s ad campaign contest ends today, so please go online and make an ad spoofing their sexy messages to young girls. This one references Candie’s Foundation’s teen pregnancy prevention activities.

To make your own: 1. Go to the Candie’s website (http://www.candies.com/spring_2011/createYourOwnAd.asp), design an ad telling them what you REALLY think about their objectified, sexualized advertising directed at very young girls 2. Remember to take a screen shot (or print to PDF and save as JPG) BEFORE you press submit or else it will disappear! 3. Post your ad here on my Facebook wall 4. Press SUBMIT and send this loud and clear message directly to Candie’s!
