I get where you are coming from – there should be more variety for girls too but I have two boys and all their (girls included) are happy to get involved in lego and love to make the little people, houses and get creative without having to make cars, robots etc

Exactly! Legos should be gender neutral! There is no need for the “girl” and “boy” break down.
