@Mattel makes room at the table: Meeting about Monster High

I was gratified to hear from my friend, Melissa Wardy, about her meeting with Mattel executives about the Monster High brand. I have long said that Monster High has the potential to be a great brand developmentally. The focus on being different, on accepting one’s flaws, on learning to be a good friend, all of these are good things. But the execution has been more mean girl and sexiness than true positive friendship skills.

I invite you to go over to Melissa’s blog and read about her conversation with Mattel. I hope that Mattel is able to take this feedback and move Monster High forward into the brand that it could be. Here’s to hoping!
